Caveat regarding web images
The resolution requirements for web images reduce aesthetic impact and do not reproduce the art with adequate fidelity. A professionally made reproduction on high grade coated board goes some way to remedy this, and this is the process used for the cards sold on line. For Collectors and Galleries however certain works are being made available in archival ink on 100% cellulose board, as used in museums. For publishers of art magazines and journals the images are available in industry standard formats and resolutions. The actual art cannot be shown faithfully in any digital format. The plan is to produce one authenticated print of each image, which will be delivered to the buyer after inspection and authentication by the artist. *The actual process used is a refinement of the reproduction methods used by museums and fine art printers |
